Brief Description:  Sanded epoxy to remove bubbles than added another

I spent a couple of hours sanding out bubbles from the first epoxy coat that I put on yesterday. Sanding epoxy messes up your sandpaper really quickly, so I kept the vacuum hose in the other hand. I started with 220 grit and ended with 400 grit and most of the bubbles were removed, at least from my eyesight.

This time I used some cheap foam brushes to add the epoxy coat. Charlotte coated one side while I did the other side. We stroked from fore to aft with the brushes this time and there were very few if any bubbles. This is the last coat of epoxy so I hope it comes out nice. We'll know tomorrow!

We are going to Florida for a few days to visit our daughter's family (3 grandkids) and when we come back we will remove the canopy and store it in the back bedroom. The instrument panel, wiring, and the electrical system is next on the agenda. I hope it goes quicker than the canopy (4 1/2 months), and not as aggravating. But I know that each step in this project has its own share of annoyances.
