Brief Description: Trip to Home Depot for tools and stuff.
No work last weekend because of some friends (twins) big 60th birtday party. But on Monday I took an inventory of what I needed to start the rear fiberglass skirts. This led to a trip to Home Depot for some supplies and tools.
I ended up buying duct tape, clear packing tape, lacquer thinner, MEK, and 150, 220, 400 grit sandpaper for supplies. The tools were a 1/8"-1/2" unibit, some cheap bristle brushes for spreading resin, and a two foot piece of 4" diameter PVC pipe. I will use the PVC pipe to put a slight bend in the side skirts to get them closer to a snug fit on the fuselage. I already have the West Marine epoxy resin and hardner along with the other stuff I need to begin the fiberglass job.
