Brief Description:  Tried forming (bending) the side skins for better

I measured the gaps of the side skirts to the fuselage and found anywhere from 1/16" to 1/4" from the front to the rear. Before laying up the fiberglass rear skirt, I needed to get the side skirts as snug as I could to the fuselage. I used the PVC pipe that I clamped to the workbench to try bending and forming lengthwise to get the lower edge to snug up to no more than 1/16" gap. After removing (unclecoing and reclecoing) and bending at least a half dozen times, I had gaps down to the 1/16" or less everywhere except at the very rear. The best I could seem to get at the rear was 1/8" gap, so I finally decided that was good enough to begin fiberglassing.

Then I remembered that I still had to fine tune the latch, match drill and bolt the roller brackets to the front bow, and put the rear anchor blocks back on before beginning the fiberglass. I'll do that tomorrow.
