Brief Description:  Cut windshield to fit forward fuselage skin.

My early morning cut didn't happen. I decided that I needed a belt sander to sand the edges so I spent the morning surfing the net doing research. I decided on a Porter Cable 371K sander because it is small and can be held with one hand, so said the brochure. I went to Lowes to purchase it and found it to be too big and heavy for my small hand, and the belts were expensive because of its odd ball size (2 1/2"x14"). I ended up buying a Skil sander that requires two hands but the belts were cheaper even though they were larger (3"x18"). Oh, and it cost half as much at $49.95 vs $99.97.

I finally made the cut about 6:30 PM after drawing the free-hand line. It came out very close to the mold line of the skin. It will be even closer after I do some sanding with the new sander tomorrow.
