Brief Description: Cut windshield and trimmed canopy.
Today I invited my brother Clark out to eat breakfast at a restaurant and said I was paying. He showed and we had a good meal. I said that I needed his help for about 30 minutes to clamp my canopy bubble to the frame. He said, "let's go do it". Six hours later we were cleaning up the garage with the shop vac trying to get all the granular plexiglass off everything.
He helped me clamp the canopy to the frame and then we made the measurements and marked the cuts that needed to be accomplished. He said, "since I'm here let's do it". I ran the die grinder with the fiber blade while he supported the pieces I was cutting off. We agonized over the aft end of the canopy until we finally found the numbers on the drawing that showed to cut 1/2"-1" past the rear bow. I had been looking for those numbers for two days (Dwg. 43). When we finally finished he had spent all day helping me. I told him that I would buy breakfast more often if I could count on six hours of his labor!!
