Brief Description:  More bending methods.

More methods to bend a canopy frame, none of which worked for us. Our canopy seems to have a life of its own. Our Quick Build fuselage seems to be of high qaulity and we have had only one problem with it. That was the forward top skin would not match the holes on the right side skin. Vans sent us a new skin without the holes punched on the right side with a little extra length. No charge execpt for shipping. The canopy front bow was no problem. We cut a little off the ends to get the roll bar spec of 3/8" per the drawing and a slight bend in to match the rollers. The aft bow seemed to be welded at an angle to the center tube upon the first visual inspection. And sure enough, it has been nothing but a problem since. The side bows are not within the spec of being 1/16" inside the side skins, especially where the aft bows are attached.

Waiting for words from builder's assistance.
