Brief Description:  Finish tube bending for boost pump kit.

On Sunday we finally started getting smart and used the tape measure much more. We knew now how much straight tube we needed at the end of the tube to add the sleeve and nut and do the flare (minimum 1.25" for our Parker flare tool).

We started accurately measuring lengths and offsets between the AN fittings. We also deviated from the drawing somewhat since it was drawn with Van's fuel selector in mind. The tube from the front of the filter connecting to the Tee on the selector showed two 45 degree bends after going under the plate and before connecting to the Tee. We bent per the drawing and came up too short a straight length for the sleeve, nut, and flare. We were able to salvage that tube to make the top most tube. We replaced the two 45's with one 90 degree bend up to the Tee and had plenty of straight length. We finally finished the kit. Next we need to bend the tubes going from the fuel selector to each wing and the engine. That is for another day.
