The wind abated on Tuesday morning, and while the temperature was rising from 42 degrees, I fabricated the flap pushrods so that I could also prime them. The 6061-T6 5/16" tubing were cut to 4 7/8" length and then tapped on both ends with a 1/4 x 28 threads/in. tap for the rod ends. Not difficult just tedious.
By early afternoon the temperature had risen to 72 degrees with a very slight breeze. I erected my hanging pole between the tree and fence and hung the pushrods. I pulled out 75' of air hose across the driveway and connected the HVLP sray gun and primed the pushrods. An easy task on a very beautiful day.
