Brief Description: Center Cabin Covers installment.
After spending two weeks in the cool Rockies of Colorado, we arrived back home and rested up from our vacation before starting work again on the airplane. We had finished the seat backs before going fishing and now it was time to install the center cabin covers for the fuel lines and boost pump as well as the cabin heat. We added nutplates to the fuel valve cover and plate and then attached the plate to the wing spar which allowed the correct postioning of the fuel valve cover and the center cabin cover. We riveted the heat baffle with its nutplates to the center cover and then positioned it for match drilling to the floor stiffeners. We'll do the drilling tommorrow.

Screwed fuel valve cover plate to wing spar flange. Positioned fuel valve cover then center cabin cover into place for match drilling to floor stiffeners.
