Brief Description:  Marked and drilled holes on the seat support angle

Today I started measuring and marking the postion of the holes on the seat support angles. It took much more time than I had anticipated. Can't imagine having to measure and locate every hole on this kit if they were not mostly pre-punched at the factory. Just reading the drawings and not making mistakes would require a mind like a steel trap. I made plenty of mistakes reading the dimensions. I caught most of the mistakes before I cut or drilled. I still made mistakes but luckily I was able to recover with a slight modification to the way the drawing did it. Measuring to 1/32" with a blue marker is all but impossible, but we tried.

Most of the aluminum angle holes were drilled on the drill press then we clamped them to the seat backs for match drilling later. I got the four corner holes located and drilled first and then proceeded from there. The manual has two sentences that say to build the seats, and then lets you figure out how to go about it. Not as easy and it looks in the drawings.
