Brief Description: Riveted forward tunnel cover and cut angles for se
I riveted the tunnel cover with the pneumatic squeezer with the exception of the center rivets. The squeezer could not quite reach those center rivets, therefore, I put the assembly in the vice and used the rivet gun and a bucking bar. Charlotte ran the rivet gun while I bucked.
I then finished cutting the seat back support angles using the hack saw and band saw. The long angles had some notches at the bottom where the piano hinges fit between the angles and seat back skin. Nothing very difficult but tedious and easy to mess up if you're in a hurry. I took my time and they came out alright. I also cut the top and bottom seat back angles as well as the seat adustment panel hinges. The seat adjust panel drawing showed four 2 1/4" lightening holes but I cut them to 1 1/2" because that's the largest hole cutter I have. I may have to buy the larger cutter when I get to the instrument panel.
