Brief Description:  Installed skin stiffener rib and clecoed baggage f

Match drilling the F-6111 skin stiffner ribs was a real chore. We had to trim to fit after fluting and twisting them into place inside the top skin leading curves above the baggage area. The ribs are a curved channel that in no way fits until you play with them and get into your mind what you must do. We drew a blue centerline on the rib flange that fits on the inside of the curved skin. We measured the length on the outside of the skin as best we could and then cut 1/4'' off the rib. We match drilled the top (and only) hole through the skin and F-706 bulkhead and clecoed it to the skin and bulkhead. We them twisted the rib until we saw the blue line on every other hole. I had to trim another 1/4" again as well as use the grinder to remove some more. It took quite some time to fit the right rib but the left rib went much faster. We finally got all the holes match drilled and clecoed.

I clecoed the floor panels back into the QB to match drill tommorrow. Happy Hour!
