Brief Description:  Finish preping rudder/brake pedals.

Today we finished preping the rudder/brake pedals. I opened the bottom holes on the angles and brake side plates to 3/16" per the drawing. Then I countersunk the pedals and side plates to accept the AN426AD4-6 flush rivets. This was followed by a good deburring and scuffing to make ready for priming.

Charlotte and I located all the bolts, washers, nuts, and cotter pins to assemble the rudder/brake assembly and bagged them to be ready available when we put everthing together. That took some time even though we have our parts pretty well organized in peg board containers, etc.

The angle drill bits came by mail today, too late to do the drilling on the baggage ribs and step torque tubes. That's my Sunday afternoon project.
