Brief Description:  Removed Airflow pump to add Flaretite seals.

With the main gear on I can lift the tail (without the empennage) with one hand and wheelbarrel the fuselage around the garage. We set up to one side of the garage so that Charlotte could put her car in again.

I decided to remove the Airflow Performance pump to add Flaretite seals to all the flared fittings. This will hopefully prevent any leaks because of my lack of skill while flaring the tubes even though they all looked good to me. I had used knife splice connections on the pump and flow meter wires so it was no problem separating the wiring. I also added silica insulation under the components under the tunnel cover to keep the heat from engine exhaust from heating them. I used silicone foam which is heat tolerant to encase the fuel and brake tubes. The only really difficult part was laying with an old man's stomach and chest over the spar and under the panel.
