Brief Description:  Made FW penetration for cabin heat cable.

With the cabin heat control cable installed, I decided to make the FW penetration using the eyeball cable unit. The stainless steel cabin heat valve from Van's has the actuating arm on the engine side of the FW. The time was spent planning and making sure that I would position the hole in the correct place.

The eyeball unit comes with a template for drilling the holes. I used a 1/8" bit for the screw holes and the Home Depot Rigid hole cutter for the passthrough 1 1/8" hole. The #3 picture shows the cable in the eyeball unit. The most difficult part of the process was deburring the stainless steel holes. I used a rat tail file while wearing leather gloves.
