Brief Description: Continued subpanel angle install.
Today I tried to intall the subpanel cable angle for fixating the panel control cables. I realized that the angle did not have a wide enough flange in the vertical direction to use the adel clamps without using some type of spacer. I therefore, unclecoed it and decided to make an angle with the correct dimensions so that a spacer would not be necessary.
I used some .040 sheet and fabricated an angle with the vertical flange 3/8" wider than the original. I then pop riveted the angle onto the bottom of the subpanel since I could not reach with the hand squeezer or the pneumatic squeezer. The first picture shows the cabin heat cable secured with the adel clamp and no spacer required.
