Brief Description:  Finished riveting last skin on the right wing.

The right wing took us only 8 hours to rivet and was completed in three days at our leisure. The steep learning curve on the left wing paid great dividends in knowledge and less stress.

Of course, it was not without a great annoyance. As the last rivet was installed and bucked, we realized that the flush head of the rivet was cracked. I drilled it out and we installed another with the same result. We could not figure out why the rivet head was cracking. We finally decided that it was caused by an angled hole through the skin and rib flange. I drilled it out again and then enlarged the hole to #30 and installed a blind rivet which was flush and solved the problem.

On to the next item which is to prepare the fiberglass wingtips for installation.
