Brief Description: More trimming on bottom rudder enclosure.
Today we had to trim the enclosure some more to streamline it the tailcone. I cut lengthwise to allow the enclosure to move up. To move up some more I also had to increase the depth of the rudder arm slots. After some sanding, I refitted it to the rudder and measured where to drill the hole in the foreward end to pull the wires to the light. I then drilled a 1/2" hole for a 3/8" snap bushing.
We left early to stop at a hobby store to purchase some small #4 screws, machine screws, washers, and nylock nuts with which we'll attach the rudder light. Happy Valentines Day!
