Brief Description:  Installed elevator trim servo.

With HS bolted to the fuselage, I decided to wire the elevtor trim servo wiring. The trim servo is located in the bottom of the left elevator so I had to figure out how to route the wiring and how to connect the wiring to the TCW Safety Trim. I had run wires from the Safety Trim to the cockpit tunnel so I extended those wires to the aft tail cone and plan to connect to the servo wires using a Dsub9 connector.

I finally decided to exit the trim servo wire bundle from the elevator through a hole that I drilled on the elevator inboard rib through an elevator horn lightening hole. The servo wires were extended by soldering and heat shrinking. I spiral wrapped the wires and worm gear clamped them to the elevator horn at the rotation axis and then passed them over the middle point of the aft spar. The bundle flexes a little up and down as the elevator moves but not enough to worry about wire fatigue. I then routed the bundle through a hole in the aft deck down through a hole in the bulkhead to the aft tail cone area.
