Brief Description: Drilled HS forward and aft spars.
Drilling the longerons made me nervous, so I took special care to measure accurately before drilling. I used the the deck line of rivets to the longerons and projected the line aft to the next rivet to center the hole in the longeron angle. I then measured to be sure before drilling. I used my Makita cordless drill to do the drilling. It has good balance and speed control. The two bolts next to each other through the angle and shim came out good on all the edge distances.
The aft spar took just a little over a 3/16" shim to longitudinally level the two spars to give 0 degrees incidence for the HS. I drilled and bolted through the flat vertical supports. I then made a final check of the logitudinal level and it was good.
