Today was time to work on connecting the various systems on and in the wing, etc. I connected the fuel tubes, vent tubes, and wired the fuel quantity gages to the Dynon 180. I had the wires already pulled and connected to the EMS, but I had to cut them to length and crimp on the ring terminals. The flaps had to be connected with the rod to the flap torque tube. I'll make adjustments to them after I align the ailerons to the alignment fixture (a four foot steel straight edge clamped to the end ribs using the tooling holes).
Tomorrow, I'll adjust the flap rods to get the 40 degree down position. The heat is coming back, but it was nice to have had some rain last week. Charlotte went to Virginia to visit her son and family for a week.
