Brief Description: Applied the primer to the windshield layups.
Today we applied the primer to the layups. I used a rattle can of automotive prime and sprayed on two layers. I immediatley found some small holes that I had missed. Charlotte mixed up some epoxy and the low density filler, and then spread it on the right corner area after I had sanded off the primer. I'll sand it tomorrow and reprime.
I pulled the canopy back and decided that I needed to repaint the aluminum band that I put on the canopy forward edge of the plexiglass. We had scratched it up trying to pull back the canopy after the layups had cured. We cut out some masking paper and taped it to the canopy bow and the edge of the plexi. Tomorrow I sand and repaint the band.
Another record hot day at 105 degrees. We went home to the air conditioning and a nap.
