The last couple of days have been very hot and I've soaked my clothes with sweat while sanding. Today I discovered while sanding the hood that it was not thoroughly bonded at the leading edge right in the middle at the top of the windshield. I think the electrical tape was just under the edge of the fiberglass layup . We cleaned the tape off and added new tape to make sure it was not under the layup. I had Charlotte bend down slightly on the aft edge of the hood while I used a brush to slip some quick setting epoxy under the front edge. It worked out OK and bonded the leading edge in about 10 minutes. I'm glad that I discovered it now instead of having it blown off in a high speed descent while flying in the test phase. We finished sanding and then I primed with some filler primer. I'll sand it tomorrow because it was too hot in the hangar, so we went home!!
