Arrived at the hangar at 8:30 AM to take advantage of the morning cool breeze of 75 degrees. By 1:30 PM the temp had risen to 96 degrees in the hangar.
I sanded the edges of the layup and removed another layer of tape. I then started mixing epoxy and glass beads in small batches to keep it from hardening before I had it applied. By the time I had it all applied the temp had risen to 90 degrees and the batches were hardening quicker and difficult to apply. I finished just in time. I cleaned up and swept the hangar and left by 1:30 PM, the earliest I have gone home in a long time. Tomorrow I'll sand the cured mixture and then apply another batch before it gets too hot.
