Brief Description:  I sanded to smooth the intersection fairings.

I wore out my right hand and arm sanding the glass beads on the fairings. I finally quit sanding due to the pain and misery. I figure the next less dense micro baloon mixture will cover the ugliness and be easier to sand.

I'll stop at Home Depot on the way home and buy some foam sanding blocks. I'll also get a 1/2" and 3/4" pieces of PVC pipe to glue on sandpaper to sand the curvatures. There has to be an easier way!

I decided to bend aluminum sheet to make angles for attaching the fiberglass plenum. Our tech couselor, Seth, said that I could use his bending brake, so I gathered up my aluminum and went to his garage to bend angles. Seth is a machinest and had built his bending brake three airplanes ago. He showed me how to bend the angles and I quickly finished what I had planned to do. The right tool makes quick work of a job and saves money!!
