Brief Description: Spread glass beads onto the intersection fairings.
We sanded vigorously to smooth the flox that we had added to the intersection fairings to create a coverup lip at their juncture. Suprising us both, the flox was very stout and did indeed create the lip that we wanted to cover the gap between the fore and aft intersection fairings. Sanding flox is not fun. We finally stopped sanding deciding that the glass beads would cover up the mess.
We mixed the epoxy and glass beads to the consistency of peanut butter to keep it from slipping due to gravity. Spreading this mixture was difficult because we really didn't have the right tools, a spoon and butter knife, which would have helped. Our spreading tools were pieces of a bondo squeege and a foam brush. We did our best before it started to set up, which was not too bad considering. I'll see tomorrow when I go out to sand it.
