Brief Description:  Made brackets for Safety Trim modules.

The tech counselor had suggested that I remove the Safety-Trim and Flap modules from a back-to-back attachment on the middle forward rib behind the subpanel. He said that lying on your back and trying to get wrench or socket on the nut with one hand and a screw driver with the other would be very difficult. He said a 90 degree bracket with nutplates and the modules facing down would only require a screw driver to remove the modules if necessary. As he said, "Electronic boxes always fail at some point."

His experience made the suggestion immediately obvious to me. Why didn't I think of that? The first time builder like me should seek out the tech counselors sooner rather than later.

Today I proceeded to make and install the brackets. I used two of the same holes that I had drilled before and only had to drill one other hole to attach the brackets to the same rib. I'll only need a Phillips screw driver to remove a module when it fails!
