Brief Description: Troubleshot Com radio and intercom.
Today I decided to check out the com radio and intercom funtions as well as the trim and flaps. After connecting the DC power supply, I ran the trim and flaps using the stick switches and the backup panel switches. They all worked as planned. The Safety-Trim has a cutoff after 3 seconds and the Flap module cuts power to the flaps in 12 seconds if the flap switch is left in the up position. These functions worked perfectly.
The Sigtronics 200S intercom has a VOX that worked and the PTT intercom switches worked when the squelch was full CCW. The SL30 com radio transmitted and received with a radio test. The pilot's stick switch would transmit but with the headset plugged into the pilot's connections, I tried transmitting using the copilot's stick switch with no transmission. I pulled the copilot's headset connetors to verify my wiring. It was OK so I called it a day and will check again tomorrow.
