We brushed epoxy resin mix onto the duct tape on the aircraft and laid the fiberglass in place. The left aft edge of the fairing was sticking up a little because of the cardboard template screw-up. I had cut the template too close and added a small strip to the edge. This edge did not lie flat when the duct tape was placed over it and so the fiberglass did not lie properly either. Jeff placed a strip of duct tape over the area in an attempt to pull it down. A small strip of tape was placed on the underside of the long piece of tape so the tape would not stick to the fiberglass.
