Using template, cut out 2 pieces from .050 sheet as spacers. Fit these 2 pieces on each side of the rudder horn brace. Drilled and countersunk holes. Primed spacers. Using approximately AN426-AD4-6 rivets and hand squeezer, riveted the 2 middle holes of the rudder horn brace. Hand or pneumatic squeezer heads do not fit in order to rivet other two holes.
Using Scotchbrite wheel, cleaned up right elevator spar.
