Brief Description:  Worked on down motion of elevators

Took the VS off the fuselage. I worked on setting the down angle of the elevators. I took the right one off and used the Dremel tool to take material off the rear spar of the HS and then the F-611E spacer. I got the down angle of the left elevator to about 22°. The range is 20°-25°. I then took off the left and put the right elevator on and got that angle to 22° also. The neutral angle of the elevators is approximately 4.5 degrees down on each side.

Visitor-Joe Walker-gave him all of my AD-41ABS pop-rivets so he could finish his elevators, 2 hinge alignment pins, the #40 drill bushing for drilling the elevator horns, and 4 silver wingnut clecoes.

Update-12/31/08-Got the pop-rivets and wingnut clecoes back.
