Brief Description: Applied Flox to Carb Heat Inlet Holes
Two of the three nutplates were drilled out of the carb heat inlet. New screw holes would have to be drilled because of the 180 degree change in position. After the new fiberglass was trimmed up, the existing holes in the carb heat inlet had to be filled so that new ones could be drilled. A batch of flox was mixed up and laid into the holes. A shorter strip of electrical tape was attached to the sticky side of a longer strip, which was then taped to the inside of the carb heat inlet. This strip of tape acted as a backstop for the flox that was put in the control arm cutout.
