Brief Description: Worked on Firewall/Relays/Battery Box
I dimpled the holes in the firewall recess. I drilled out the four holes in the firewall for the attachment of the relays. The battery box was clamped to the side brackets which were clecoed in position on the firewall. The box was drilled to the brackets, using the holes in the brackets as a guide. These holes were deburred and the holes in the box that could be reached with the pneumatic squeezer were dimpled. The other holes were countersunk using the angle drill and a countersink bit. The holes in the brackets were dimpled with the pneumatic squeezer. One of the #30 dimpling sets had to have a side ground off so that it would not be pushed into the flange of the bracket. The nutplates for the battery box brackets were riveted in place with the pneumatic squeezer.
