Brief Description:  Pop rivet rear turtle deck

Last Saturday I removed the rear turtle deck to debur, dimple and corrosion proof the skins, formers and L angles. With this complete the skins where re-installed and riveted in place starting from the top center and working out to the sides. Rather then ending up with rippling in the skin around the front hoop, all my ripples seemed to be in the area where the end of the turtle deck meets the side skins, to remove the majority of these I added extra rivets down the length of the front turtle deck skins into the extruded L angle. I think I am making the same comment here that everyone else seems to make, it turned out just OK, but I can live with it, a little filler should hide the majority of the small ripples.
