Brief Description:  Nose gear

Dusan came over to check out progress on the fuse and to lend a hand. We removed the front firewall and opened up the slots for the steering rods to 14mm rather then the 7mm that I had initially cut by mis-reading the plans. At least it was smaller then it was supposed to be. With this completed the firewall was re-installed and the bottom nose gear bracket bolted to the fuselage floor. I had to open up the top nose gear bearing hole to allow the nose gear to be able to smoothly slide up and down, a little work with the half round file soon had this done. We then used Dusans new rivet gun to pop all the A4 rivets on the left side skin. Boy this is a nice gun, it used a leaver for machanical advantage and pulls the rivets with no recoil and hardly any noise. A really productive evening was the end result.
