I have moved the pedals forward 55mm or 120mm from the firewall to the green bearing material. As a result I also had to find the new postion to locate the pistons for the toe brakes so that the toe brakes do not move wildly with rudder deflection. To do this I mounted the hinges to the rudder pedals and the toe brakes with clecos. Tomorrow night I will mark all these postions and drill the new holes to locate the whole show. The existing pre-drilled #40 holes in the fuselage floor will just be filled with some solid rivets. I am hoping that anyone who files my plane will be able to just use an extra cushion to ensure that they can reach the pedals if required.
Both pedals setup to get an idea of travel
Side shot to show that toe brakes will sit in the same postion
