Finished the pop riveting of the top skin and did another test fit of the completed elevator to the HS. Found that the left hand fiberglasss tip was warped and had not been cut square. I tried to fix this by added aluminium strips to the top adn botton inside edge of the rib, but could not swing it far enough at the tip to get it square to the elevator. Will try to make a copy of the right rib, if this does not work then will call the factory to see if they will provide a replacement Measured and marked the cutout required on the top and bottom skin of the left hand elevator Used hole saw to open the skin so that it could be cut using the tin snips and completed the rough cut out of the skin.
