Brief Description:  Carrier out cable tension AD and 100 hour service

I borrowed a cable tension tester from a friend to check all my cable tensions this weekend.

Ailerons - Left 20 inch pounds
Right 25 inch pounds
Balance 20 inch pounds

Elevator - Top 23 inch pounds
Bottom 25 inch pounds

Rudder - Left 20 inch pounds
Right 20 inch pounds

The only adjustments that I made were to the Ailerons

Left Brought up to 35 inch pounds
Right brought up to 32 inch pounds
Balance brought up to 25 inch pounds.

I also carried out my 100 hourly inspection, and everything is in good shape, no loose bolts or poped rivets, all bell cranks secure, cable swages all OK..

The engine however was a different story, after doing a leak down test, the Right Cylinders were perfect.

1. 78/80
3. 78/80
5. 80/80

The left had a few issues

2. 74/80 - ended up being a loose head, but the barrel was removed, honed and new rings and seals installed just in case.
4. 30/80 - Warped cylinder barrel, which has been removed, honed and new rings and seals installed.
6. 80/80

I have no idea why only one cylinder went south and I am presuing a warantee claim with Jabiru at present, they have provided new parts, but we are still discussing the labour component.
