Brief Description:  Flight testing stability

Best Climb, 2 up, full fuel, 2600rpm;
First results seems to indicate about 75 knots, at 700 fpm.

Best Glide, 2 up, full fuel, engine at idle;
70 knots, with a rate of decent at 400 fpm.

Stability tests;

Rudder;
Slowing the aircraft to 70 knots, the rudder can be deflected either full left or full right and if you slowly remove your foot the rudder will stay in this position and the aircraft will continue in yawed flight, thus presenting as negatively stable in this axis.

Elevator;
Again slowing the aircraft to 70 knots, the elevator can be tapped either fore or aft and the aircraft will oscillate 2 or 3 times and stabilise which is good. However pitch is quite sensitive.

Ailerons;
The ailerons can be bumped in either direction and the aircraft will continue to turn in that direction, there is no tendency for the turn to steepen or flatten out.

Temperatures Climb;
CHT 280 F
EGT left 1280 F
EGT right 1300 F
Oil Temp 90 C
Oil pressure 3 kpa

Temperatures Cruse;
CHT 240 F
EGT left 1100 F
EGT right 1150 F
Oil Temp 80 C
Oil pressure 3 kpa
