Brief Description: Installed the remaining spar bolts
This morning, I installed the 4 remaining wing bolts in between a little chatting with a few friends that dropped in. It took about 3 hours to get the remaining 4 bolts installed. Wow are my hands sore. I then popped off all the rivets in the canopy and installed the screws along the top section where the canopy gets clamped between the flashing and the inside trim. At the end of all this I installed and glued the front and rear canopy rubber seals in place, I should have done this at home, it would have been much easier to do off the plane, but hey its done now.
At the end of all this as I was getting ready to pack up, Keith our club president suggested that I install the new needle in the carbie for the Jabiru 3300, this is supposed to sort out a few more cooling issues, guess we shall see when we start flight testing. I have also organised to weigh the plane in the first week of January, and I hope also get it inspected.
