This afternoon I rubbed back the top of the cowl and dried it by placing a heater underneath it. Once dry it was cleaned with Prep Sol and then given a tack coat of yellow, with the heater going this dried really quickly, so another three coats of yellow where applied in stages letting each coat go slightly tacky. This worked quite well, except for the one small run on the left front corner, that’s life. Insect count so far is one, fingers crossed it stays that way.
