I have added 3 layers of 10 ounce fibreglass so far and have 2 more layers to add which I hope will be enough for the fairing to hold its shape. I guess I'll find out later this week when I try to dismantle it...the good thing about epoxy is that it sands fairly easily and filling any divits etc. should be easy enough to do so that I can get a nice smooth finish. The black marks that can been seen in the photo's are the sharpie marker lines from where I marked out how I was going to cut the fibreglass cloth, these will all disappear with a coat of paint.
