Brief Description:  Tidy up of all the spats

Yesterday (Saturday) was another wild weather day for Sydney and we yet again lost power for 6 hours.... what can you say, so no fiddling with the plane took place. So this afternoon I ventured into the garage and trimmed all the spats to make them the same as far as the cut-outs go, for the front I just wanted to make both sides follow the same curves and lines, a couple of hours later job done, I also filled all the extra holes that I had drilled while trying to work out the best mounting location. On the other side of the fence it looks like it’s going to be a long winter if the rain keeps going like this. Anyhow I have decided to plough ahead regardless and erect a temporary carport under my permanant carport and turn this into a spray booth, they where on special at Super Cheap Auto, and its one good way of containing the over-spray. I also need to pick up a cheap exhaust fan to mount into one side of it, as its completely enclosed and a filter on the other side for ingress of clean air. I'll have this running while I am spraying hopefully it keeps the air inside the carport sort of clean and dust free. I’ll then switch to a fan heater once I'm done to help with the drying process. But before I do all this I have to work out a way to make the wing intersection fairings, its too cold out at present and even though the plaster will dry, its just not fun working in those conditions...something to ponder.
