Brief Description: Installed left side brake lines
At quick hours work this eveing after mothers day lunch (ugh too much food). I made up some tabs out of scrap aluminium to hold the brake lines in place against the rear of the gear leg, the tabs are secured to the gear with 3 small self tapping screws and spaced at 200mm intervals which holds the line nice and secure. The tabs clamp around the line loosely enough the the lines can slide a little if requried, with the flexing of the gear. Tomorrow the right side brake lines and then I will tidy it all up...
Brakes exiting fuselage aft of gear bracket
I made some rolled aluminium tabs to hold the lines in place against the gear
Left brake line attached to master cylinder, I still need to add some clamps to secure it properly
