After I ran out of primer I decied to start on the center console, the channel is cut and bent according to the instructions, the measurements pretty much dictate the size and shape of the completed product. I made the left side first and cut the side wall according to the instructions, but I did not allow for the small triangular section that overlaps onto the top of the spar, so I had to install an extra piece of aluminium to finish it off and not leave a hole, even though you won't see this as the seat will cover this area. I used the first side piece to make a perfect side panel for the right side, things are always great in hind sight. The L angles for the floor still need to be fitted as well as the L angles that connect the top of the side panel to the horizontal channel that joins the firewall to the instrument panel. By the way, this part is too short by about 20mm, so I had to add an extension piece as can be seen in image 3.
