This evening I installed the right axle, there are no instructions that I could see, so I lined up the bottom of the round part of the axle with the bottom of the landing gear and centered the flat sections between the front and rear of the landing gear leg, once I was happy with this I clamped the axle in place and marked the positions for the holes with a center punch. I then removed the axle and clamped a set square next to the position of the first hole and used this as a guide to ensure that I was holding the drill strait. It worked pretty well so I repeated this step on the other holes. I only had one hole was slightly out, so I drilled this out to the next size up from 1/4. Once the axel is in place you can mark the position for the brake caliper on the landing gear, no matter what you do you will have to either cut of file a section or two away. I positioned mine so that I only had to remove the bottom corner as you can see in image 3. I gather the wheels will need to come off to clean and pack the bearings with gease, but for now they can stay put where they are.
