The end result of making a mould from the good horizontal stabilizer fiber glass tip that came with my kit, the other tip left a lot to be desired, it had warped badly after being taken from the mould. My friend Dusan took the part we laid up a few weeks ago to his work shop, and cleaned it up on his linisher so that the edges are nice and square, and mounted it in some ply wood. I tested the fit of the original part this afternoon and it fits well, amazing that there has been very little shrinkage. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that we can pull a good copy out this mould.
