I had been meaning to do this for a while and seeing as it was a nice cool day, I pulled the rear of the Subi apart so that I could give the bumper a good blast with the heat gun and also glue an aluminium strip under the scetion that had cracked. Its amazing the memory that plastic has, as long as its not creased too badly it will pop back into shape with enough heat and pressure. Also did a bit of pannel beating on the cover under the light as well as glueing the lens back together again. All in all, given how it looked and am pleased with the end result. Lots cheaper than a replacement bumper bar.
