Brief Description:  Marking up, cutting and drilling right hand flap s

I remeasured this cut off section another two times, the flap skin is 25 thou think and required a little more effort to cut compared to the Aileron skin which is only 16 thou. Drilled all the pilot holes using a #40 drill and then back drilled the ribs again using a #40 drill. I then went over this for the last time and opend up the holes with a #20 drill which is the required size. Lots of swarf generated by this exercise. Once this was completed, I disassembled and deburred the ribs and the inside of the skins. Because I am dimpling, I am going to have to ask my friend Dusan for another favour, a lot of the skins need to be hand dimpled and I am going to need an A5 close quarters dimple die set.

Good news this afternoon, got a call from Bracks International Shipping and Frieght Forwarding, they are handling the delivery of my replacement flap skin. The parts are with customs in Sydney and I just need to fill in a customs clearance form, which they faxed through this afternoon. This will get the box released and delivery should happen on either Thursday or Friday.

Thanks to the people at Zenith, great company to deal with.
