Ok my silly trap doors. I used that hardware store item shown in a previous log to get some aluminium on rails with tracks. Pretty much as you see in pic 1. The door is cut from a sheet of garolite G10.
Pic 2 has them in place and these are actuated i.e. open/close by leaning forward in flight and reaching under the seat. I have little handles that I'll dig up for a future log. I needed these in place before seting in the shroud.
You can see in pic 3 that its just a small opening. Who thinks up this crazy stuff? I need to get out more.
